Global Coverage with Visa and Mastercard

Our off-ramp offers extensive debit card coverage. Visa Original Credit Transactions (OCT) is available globally, while Mastercard and Visa will be supported in the U.S. and Europe.

‍Step-by-step

1. Go to the "You Sell" section and select the amount of cryptocurrency you want to sell.
2. Review the estimated amount of fiat currency you will receive in the "You Get" field after fees.  
3. If you’re satisfied with the terms, enter your email address to sign in.
4. Confirm the verification code sent to your email.  
5. Add a valid debit card as your withdrawal method, or select an existing card.  
6. Topper will generate a wallet address and QR code for you.  
7. Go to your wallet and send the specified cryptocurrency to the generated wallet address.  
8. Make sure to send the exact asset to that specific address. If you’re shown a destination tag or memo, make sure to add that as well.
9. Return to the Topper widget to monitor the status of your selling order.
10. Once completed, the fiat will be deposited into the account linked with your selected debit card.

Taxable Event in the United States

For U.S.-based users, it’s important to know that each off-ramp transaction does count as a taxable event. Selling assets is a taxable event in the United States, so Topper will collect taxpayer numbers for U.S. users. To help make this easier, Topper will email customers a receipt with all the details after each transaction.
